One of the biggest barriers to weight loss is the overconsumption of processed foods, which are often high in salt, sugar and saturated fats. We will discuss ways to swap our favorite processed foods and beverages for healthier, whole food replacements. The training will also include a discussion on how diet foods and sodas also affect weight loss and how to talk to your clients regarding healthy food swaps.

You will learn:

  • What a calorie is from a thermogenic and metabolic perspective
  • How to determine a natural food guide on portion control and add in healthier foods using the plate food method
  • Easy-to-make and affordable whole food replacements for processed food favorites like soda, sport drinks, sandwiches, salad dressings and packaged snacks
  • Tips on how to easily prep healthy food for the work week
